Leatherman Skeletool KB 2.6in Plain Edge Folding Knife Sandstorm

Description

The Leatherman Skeletool KB in Sandstorm is a compact folding pocket knife designed for everyday cutting tasks when a full-size multi-tool would be more than you need. Its streamlined configuration focuses on two practical functions: a 2.6-inch plain-edge knife blade and an integrated bottle opener. The blade is made from 420HC stainless steel, a material suited to routine jobs such as opening packages, cutting cord, preparing materials around camp, and handling other general utility work. A locking mechanism holds the blade in its working position, providing a secure setup during use before the knife is folded for storage. At 3.45 inches closed and only 1.3 ounces, the Skeletool KB takes up little room in a pocket, daypack, tackle bag, tool pouch, or outdoor gear kit. Its open length is 5.87 inches, giving the user a functional cutting tool while maintaining the lightweight proportions that define the Skeletool family. The replaceable stainless steel pocket clip offers a convenient carry option and also incorporates the bottle opener, adding another useful capability without requiring a separate implement. The Sandstorm color gives this exact version a distinctive neutral outdoor appearance, while the skeletonized construction reduces unnecessary bulk and visually matches other tools in the Leatherman Skeletool line. This model is a straightforward choice for hunters, anglers, campers, hikers, tradespeople, and everyday-carry users who primarily need a dependable folding blade with minimal added weight. It is supplied in clamshell packaging and is made in the United States. With its simple two-function arrangement, compact dimensions, locking plain-edge blade, and removable or replaceable carry clip, the Skeletool KB provides practical utility in a format that is easy to keep close at hand.
