Leatherman Skeletool KBx Aurora Folding Knife 2.6-Inch Combo Blade

Description

The Leatherman Skeletool KBx in Aurora is a compact folding pocket knife built for everyday cutting jobs, outdoor activities, work tasks and convenient carry. Instead of loading the frame with pliers, drivers and other full-size multi-tool components, this streamlined member of the Skeletool family focuses on a versatile knife blade and a practical bottle opener. Its 2.6-inch blade is made from 420HC stainless steel and uses a combination cutting edge, providing both a plain section for controlled slicing and a serrated section suited to tougher materials such as rope, webbing and heavy packaging. The blade locks open during use, helping provide the stability expected from a working folding knife. An open-frame handle made with Type II anodized aluminum keeps the design slim and lightweight while giving the Aurora variant its distinctive finish. When closed, the knife measures 3.45 inches long, making it easy to place in a pocket, daypack, tackle bag or gear organizer without taking up unnecessary room. Fully opened, it measures 5.87 inches long, with a narrow 0.8-inch width and 0.30-inch overall thickness. The attached pocket clip keeps the knife readily accessible and also incorporates a bottle opener, adding useful functionality without a separate implement. At only 1.3 ounces, the Skeletool KBx works well for users who want a capable Leatherman cutting tool without the weight and bulk of a conventional multi-tool. Its skeletonized construction and straightforward configuration make it a sensible option for daily carry, campsite chores, fishing trips, travel kits or general utility work. This configuration includes the folding knife itself and does not include a sheath.
