Why will the website not let me complete the ordering process?

We are always working to update and better our website. If you are having issues completing the order process we recommend you check the following:

Can I swap an item from my order to a different item?

No, we are not able to edit an order after it has been placed. We can assist you in cancelling your original order, so you can order the item(s) you wanted, or you can place a separate order. To cancel your order, please use our Contact Us form for the fastest response.

Can I add something to my order?

How do I make my order an In-Store Pickup?

Fin Feather Fur Outfitters currently has stores located in Ohio. In-Store Pickup is available for firearms only and a transfer to our own store is FREE. When selecting your FFL dealer, select a Fin Feather Fur Outfitters store location to avoid a transfer fee. The FIN store you have selected will contact you once your order is ready for pick up

Do you have a system that will notify me when this item comes back in stock?

Yes, to be alerted to back in stock products simply click the "NOTIFY ME WHEN AVAILABLE" button on the out of stock product page. Enter your email address and click submit. When the product becomes available we will send you a notification

Can I order an out of stock item, and you send it once it comes in? (Back Ordering)

No, out of stock items cannot be ordered/back ordered.

When will my order ship?

Orders received Monday through Friday will ship within 2 business days. Firearms will be shipped within 48 hours after the transfer FFL is received and processed. Some exclusions apply. See SHIPPING page for more details.

My order arrived damaged or is lost in transit

If you purchased Route package insurance please click on the following link and file a quick and easy CLAIM  Route will normally resolve claims within 48 hours. 

If you opted not to purchase Route insurance please Contact Us Please include your order #, name, description of issue and photo's if applicable, 

What about Sales Tax?

We collect sales tax in states that we are required to. 

Alabama customers we have collected the simplified sellers use tax on taxable transactions delivered into Alabama and the tax will be remitted on the customer's behalf to the Alabama Department of Revenue. Sellers program account number is SSU-R010994596

What if website pricing changes?

Website prices are subject to change without notice. Our goal is 100% accuracy, but we are human, and typographical errors do happen. In the rare event that we make an error we are not liable. We apologize in advance.

Ammo Sales

We currently do not ship ammo to California, NY and Illinois.

State Magazine Restrictions

Firearms being shipped to Colorado, Connecticut, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York or Vermont may have the magazine(s) removed before shipment if the magazines exceed your states legal round capacity . Fin Feather Fur Outfitters will not replace or exchange magazines. These orders will not be discounted or credited. If your order is being shipped to one of the states listed, please contact us to verify you agree to these terms. Additional processing time may apply.


 General Merchandise

 Most items sold by Fin Feather Fur Outfitters can be returned within 30 days for a replacement or a refund. All returns require a return authorization which can be obtained by using our CONTACT US page. The product needs to be returned new and in the original package with all tags, warranty papers, accessories and original invoice or packing slip to:

Please inspect firearm carefully before taking possession from your dealer. If there are any issues call us and we can arrange to have the firearm returned. After we receive and inspect the firearm you will be given a choice of a refund or a replacement if available.

 We reserve the right to deduct return shipping fees and add a restock fee to your refund depending upon the reason of the return. Refund fees on firearms are typically $40.00 Once you take possession of the firearm any warranty issues or defects need to be directed to the manufacturer of the firearm.

 Other Issues

 If your package arrives damaged or you received the wrong item email us immediately so that we can resolve the problem as quickly as possible.
