Leatherman Skeletool KBx Folding Knife Nocturnal Clamshell

Description

The Leatherman Skeletool KBx is a compact folding pocket knife designed for everyday cutting tasks when a full-size multi-tool would be more than you need. This Nocturnal version combines the open-frame Skeletool profile with a 2.6-inch 420HC stainless steel combo blade, providing both a plain cutting section and serrations for working through cord, packaging, webbing, and other common materials. The blade locks in the open position to help provide controlled, confident use, while openings in the blade make it accessible without adding a separate thumb stud. Its contoured, skeletonized construction keeps the knife slim and lightweight, making it practical for daily carry in a pocket, pack, tackle bag, or tool pouch. A replaceable pocket clip secures the folded knife during transport and incorporates a bottle opener, giving the KBx two useful functions without unnecessary bulk. At 3.45 inches long when closed and 5.87 inches when fully opened, it offers a useful cutting edge while remaining easy to carry. The frame and handle construction use stainless steel and Type II anodized aluminum, balancing durability with a finished appearance that distinguishes the Nocturnal color configuration. Measuring approximately 0.8 inch wide and 0.3 inch thick, the closed knife has a streamlined shape that takes up little pocket space. The knife weighs only 1.3 ounces, so it can be carried throughout the day without the noticeable weight of a conventional multi-tool. This exact configuration is supplied in clamshell packaging and does not include a sheath. It is a practical choice for customers who want the recognizable Skeletool design focused on essential cutting performance, convenient pocket carry, and an integrated opener rather than pliers, drivers, or additional implements.
