Introducing The NEW Springfield Hellcat Pro

When Springfield Armory announces a new firearm to its already power packed lineup of firearms there is good reason for excitement! Since 1974 when they rescued the Springfield name, they have vowed to uphold its legacy dating back to 1777 when George Washington ordered the creation of Springfield Armory to store ammunition and gun carriages for the American Revolutionary War.

Today is no exception. Springfield Armory is introducing the new Hellcat Pro. Built off the award-winning Hellcat Micro 9mm the new Hellcat Pro offers the performance of a larger handgun in a compact, perfectly balanced pistol. The Springfield Hellcat Pro chambered in 9mm features a 15+1 capacity in a more compact, smaller package than any other pistol in its class. Featuring a versatile accessory rail and being optics ready the new Hellcat may just be the perfect EDC pistol of all time.

TRITIUM U-DOT SIGHTS

The ability to quickly locate your front sight is crucial for fast and accurate shot placement. The Hellcat® Pro features a high visibility tritium & luminescent front sight paired with a Tactical Rack U-Dot™ rear sight for intuitive and easy target acquisition in all lighting conditions.

LOADED CHAMBER INDICATOR

The loaded chamber indicator on the Hellcat® Pro ensures that the condition of the pistol is readily discernible.

15-ROUND MAGAZINES

The Hellcat® Pro pistol comes with two flush-fitting 15-round magazines, offering class-leading capacity in a slim, concealable package.

MELONITE FINISH

The Hellcat Pro slide and barrel are coated in a rugged Melonite® finish to withstand the toughest conditions.

3.7" HAMMER FORGED BARREL

Wringing out increased ballistic performance, the 3.7” barrel of the Hellcat® Pro is hammer forged for unmatched strength and durability.

FRONT & TOP SLIDE SERRATIONS

In addition to traditional rear slide serrations, the Hellcat® Pro features front and top serrations for positive purchase and reliable manipulation in any condition.

REVERSIBLE MAG RELEASE

The magazine release of the Hellcat® Pro is easily reversible at the user level for ambidextrous usage.

ACCESSORY RAIL

Ensuring you can mount the light or laser of your choice on the Hellcat® Pro, the pistol features a versatile Picatinny rail on the dustcover portion of the frame. This longer section of rail provides users the flexibility to deploy a wide range of accessories.

Designed with the use of red dot optics in mind, the Hellcat® Pro features an OSP™ (Optical Sight Pistol) configuration. The slide is milled with the Springfield Micro™ footprint, designed to accept the smallest, most popular micro red dots on the market.

Designed to offer the best of both worlds, the Hellcat Pro delivers full-size performance in a concealable, EDC-ready package. The slim-line grip feels superb in hand, increasing contact and control, while the additional mass in the slide and barrel translates into reduced muzzle flip and faster follow-up shots.

NO EQUAL

The Hellcat® Pro packs in an impressive 15 + 1 capacity with the flush-fitting magazine while maintaining its ergonomic, slim profile. The result is a pistol that carries more capacity in a smaller footprint than any other gun in its class.

With Springfield’s “adaptive grip texture.” The grip is designed to sit comfortably in the waistband but still provide a positive grip when held tightly.The frame also has “memory pads” above the trigger guard to remind users to place their trigger finger on the frame when they’re not pulling the trigger. The Hellcat Pro comes with a passive trigger safety and no manual thumb safety or grip safety.

Every Hellcat Pro ships with two 15-round flush mags and comes with a front tritium day and night sight and rear U-notch ledge-style sight. They measure just over 6.5 inches long, just under 5 inches tall and just an inch wide at the widest. The Hellcat Pro has an unloaded weight of 21 ounces.

The new Hellcat Pro has a suggested price of $634, which will likely work out to a mid-$500 price point in stores and online.
