The Magpul PMAG 20 LR/SR GEN M3 is a detachable 20-round rifle magazine designed for compatible SR25, M110 and AR10-pattern firearms chambered in 7.62x51 NATO or .308 Winchester. This exact version features Magpul’s OD Green color, making it a practical match for similarly colored stocks, grips and other firearm furniture while remaining easy to distinguish from magazines assigned to other loads. Its compact 20-round configuration has a maximum length of 6.5 inches, providing useful ammunition capacity without the additional length of a higher-capacity magazine. The body is molded from Magpul’s impact- and crush-resistant polymer and incorporates a constant-curve internal profile to support controlled cartridge movement. Inside, a self-lubricating anti-tilt follower works with a corrosion-resistant stainless steel spring to promote consistent feeding. Textured gripping areas at the front and rear provide positive handling during loading, removal and magazine changes. A flared floorplate offers a secure handling surface and can be removed without specialized tools for routine cleaning and maintenance. The floorplate is also shaped to remain manageable when magazines are carried in tight double or triple pouches. A paint-pen dot matrix molded into the lower body gives users a convenient place to identify ammunition types or number individual magazines. This magazine is intended for SAAMI-specification 7.62x51 NATO and .308 Winchester ammunition and fits numerous rifles that use the SR25/M110 magazine pattern. Compatible examples include the Armalite AR-10A, KAC SR25, LMT .308 MWS, Ruger SR-762, Smith & Wesson M&P10 and SIG716. It is not designed for firearms using Armalite AR-10B, M14, FN FAL or HK 91/G3-pattern magazines.
