The Kershaw Launch Iridium combines the streamlined profile of the Iridium design with the quick, direct operation of a push-button automatic folding knife. This full-size model is built for everyday cutting work, outdoor utility and users who prefer a clean, modern knife that carries discreetly in a pocket. Its 3.45-inch spear-point blade is made from CPM MagnaCut steel, a premium blade alloy selected for its useful balance of edge retention, toughness and corrosion resistance. Kershaw applies a working finish to the blade, giving it a practical, weathered appearance designed to make the marks accumulated through regular use less conspicuous. Pressing the low-profile button deploys the blade, while the same control serves as the lock release when the knife is ready to be closed. The handle is machined from black-anodized 6061-T6 aluminum, keeping the knife relatively light while providing a rigid frame for dependable daily carry. A custom pivot and gray-anodized backspacer give the otherwise understated black handle a refined contrast, and the integrated lanyard hole offers another convenient carry option. Measuring 4.55 inches closed and 8 inches overall, the Launch Iridium provides substantial cutting capability without becoming overly bulky in the pocket. The reversible deep-carry clip supports left- or right-side tip-up positioning, allowing the carry arrangement to be adapted to the user.
