The HOLOSUN EPS-CORE-RD-3 is a compact enclosed pistol sight designed to place the broad viewing window of the full-size EPS platform on handguns equipped with an RMSc-compatible mounting interface. This exact configuration uses a clean 3 MOA red LED dot, giving the shooter a straightforward aiming reference without the additional circle found on multi-reticle versions. Its 1x optical system and unlimited eye relief support a natural, target-focused sight picture for everyday carry, range training and practical handgun use. The enclosed housing surrounds the emitter, helping keep dust, debris and moisture from obstructing the light source while the 0.90 x 0.63-inch window provides a generous field of view for a compact optic. A forward-facing light sensor, manual brightness controls, memory, lockout mode and motion-activated Shake Awake technology provide flexible illumination management. Eight daylight settings and four night-vision-compatible settings allow the dot intensity to be adjusted for different equipment and lighting conditions. Power comes from a side-loading CR1620 battery, so routine battery replacement does not require removing the sight from the slide and disturbing the established zero. Battery operation can reach 50,000 hours at setting six under the manufacturer’s stated test conditions. The black housing is machined from 6061 aluminum and protected by a hard-anodized finish. It carries an IPX8 waterproof rating and a 5000G vibration-resistance rating, while windage and elevation adjustments move in 1.5 MOA increments across a plus-or-minus 30 MOA travel range. Measuring 1.61 inches long, 1.18 inches wide and 0.97 inch tall, the EPS-CORE balances a slim mounting footprint with a full-size viewing window.
