CobraTec Regent Bar Lock Folding Knife S35VN OD Green

Description

The CobraTec Regent is a premium folding knife designed for everyday carry, outdoor use, and the cutting jobs that come up around the home, workshop, campsite, or hunting property. This exact model pairs an OD Green handle with a black titanium-coated S35VN stainless steel blade, giving it a practical configuration with a distinctive, low-profile appearance. The blade measures 3.25 inches long, providing useful cutting reach while keeping the knife compact enough for routine pocket carry. S35VN is a stainless blade steel selected for its balance of edge retention, toughness, and corrosion resistance, making it well suited to a working folder that may see frequent use. A thumb stud provides convenient access to the blade, while the bar-lock mechanism uses spring tension to secure the blade when open. The lock is designed for ambidextrous operation, allowing the user to pull the bar rearward when opening or closing the knife. CobraTec machines the 4.25-inch handle from 6061-T6 aluminum, creating a lightweight yet rigid body with a comfortable profile for controlled cutting. When fully opened, the Regent measures 7.5 inches overall and weighs 3.4 ounces, offering a manageable combination of size and portability. An ambidextrous tip-up pocket clip supports right- or left-side carry, and the integrated lanyard loop provides another way to secure or identify the knife. The Regent is a capable choice for users who want a modern bar-lock folder with one-handed operation, premium stainless blade steel, and a machined aluminum handle. As with any folding knife, regular cleaning, careful drying, occasional pivot lubrication, and proper sharpening will help preserve smooth operation and cutting performance over time.
