CobraTec EDC Scout Button Lock Folding Knife Orange

The CobraTec EDC Scout Button Lock is a lightweight manual folding knife designed for convenient everyday carry and routine cutting work. This exact version pairs a bright orange Grivory handle with a VG-10 stainless steel drop-point blade, creating a practical combination for opening packages, trimming cord, preparing materials and handling other common tasks at home, in the shop or outdoors. The textured handle provides a defined gripping surface while keeping the knife’s published weight to just 2 ounces, making it easy to carry without adding unnecessary bulk to a pocket or gear setup. Its orange color also gives the Scout a distinctive, highly visible appearance that stands apart from more traditional black or neutral-colored folding knives. A flipper tab works with the ceramic ball-bearing pivot to deploy the blade manually, while the button-lock mechanism provides a straightforward method for releasing the blade when it is time to close the knife. This configuration keeps the controls accessible for regular one-handed operation without incorporating an automatic opening mechanism. The VG-10 blade uses a versatile drop-point profile suitable for controlled slicing and general utility work, and the plain cutting edge can be maintained with standard knife-sharpening equipment. For carry, the EDC Scout includes a reversible tip-up pocket clip that allows the knife to be configured for either side of the handle. This flexibility is useful for right- or left-side pocket placement and lets the owner arrange the clip according to personal preference. Compact, light and equipped with practical everyday features, the orange CobraTec EDC Scout is a functional choice for customers who want a modern folding knife with a button lock, smooth bearing-supported action and an easy-to-recognize handle color. As with any folding knife, users should follow safe handling practices and confirm applicable carry regulations before taking it into public areas.
