CobraTec California OTF 952 Automatic Knife 1.75in Blue Dagger

The CobraTec California OTF 952 is a compact out-the-front automatic knife configured with a blue handle and a 1.75-inch, non-serrated dagger-profile blade. Its shortened blade and compact format make it suitable for routine everyday cutting jobs where a full-size knife would add unnecessary bulk. The blade is made from D2 tool steel, a practical choice for users who want a working edge for opening packages, cutting tape, trimming cord and handling other controlled light-duty tasks. The symmetrical dagger profile gives this exact variant a distinctive appearance while retaining an uninterrupted plain edge without serrations. A sliding control operates the out-the-front mechanism, allowing the blade to extend from the front of the handle and retract into the handle when the knife is not being used. CobraTec’s OTF design also incorporates a safety function that disengages spring tension when the deploying blade meets an obstruction. If this occurs, the blade can be carefully pulled into its locked position to reset the mechanism. The attached pocket clip keeps the knife readily accessible while leaving room in a pocket for other everyday gear. Its blue handle makes this version easy to distinguish from the other colors offered in the California 952 series, and the compact proportions provide a straightforward option for users who prefer a small automatic knife. Keep the blade clean before retracting it, since tape residue, dirt and loose debris can interfere with an OTF mechanism. As with any automatic knife, owners should handle it responsibly, follow safe cutting practices and confirm applicable state and local laws before purchasing, carrying or using it. CobraTec supports its knives with the company’s lifetime warranty program.
