Valley Forge Perma-Nyl 5' x 8' Nylon American Flag

Description

Display the Stars and Stripes at a home, business, school, municipal building or other patriotic setting with this Valley Forge Perma-Nyl American flag. This exact version measures 5 feet high by 8 feet wide, providing the larger proportions needed for a prominent display while remaining suitable for use with a conventional flagpole and halyard system. Its red, white and blue design is constructed from lightweight 200-denier nylon, a practical flag material that responds well to moving air and allows the flag to fly in lighter breezes. The design uses individually sewn red-and-white stripes rather than a fully printed field, while the blue canton is finished with embroidered white stars for a traditional, dimensional appearance. A heavy canvas heading strengthens the hoist edge, and two brass grommets provide secure attachment points for compatible flagpole snap hooks or mounting hardware. The exposed fly end receives four rows of lock stitching to reinforce the portion of the flag that experiences the most movement during regular display. This construction makes the flag an appropriate choice for outdoor use, while its finished appearance also works well for large indoor installations, auditoriums, gymnasiums and ceremonial spaces. The 5-by-8-foot format offers greater visibility than common residential-size flags and is useful where the flag needs to be seen from a distance. Manufactured in the United States, this Valley Forge flag is supplied as one flag in the manufacturer’s red, white and blue configuration. It is a straightforward replacement option for an existing 5-by-8-foot American flag and combines sewn construction, embroidered detailing, a reinforced heading and brass mounting grommets in a ready-to-hang design.
