TRUE Plasma Lighter XR Rechargeable Plasma Arc Lighter

The TRUE Plasma Lighter XR is a compact, rechargeable fire-starting tool designed for camping, backpacking, emergency kits and everyday lighting tasks. Instead of relying on disposable matches or liquid fuel, it creates a concentrated electrical plasma arc between two electrodes. This flameless system provides dependable ignition in windy outdoor conditions and eliminates the need to carry or refill lighter fuel. Its extendible metal neck is flexible, allowing the ignition point to be positioned closer to tinder, candles, grills and other hard-to-reach targets while keeping the user’s hand farther from the material being lit. When the job is finished, the neck retracts into the body and the locking cover closes over the ignition area for protected storage. The reinforced ABS plastic and zinc alloy construction is complemented by a rubberized exterior for a secure grip and improved resistance to impacts encountered around camp or on the trail. The lighter is also designed to resist water and dust, and its floating construction makes retrieval easier if it is accidentally dropped in water. A full battery charge provides more than 300 push-button activations. Continuous operation automatically stops after six seconds, helping manage battery use and preventing the arc from remaining energized indefinitely. The integrated indicator illuminates while the electrodes are active, signals when the battery is low and shows charging status. Power is supplied by an internal lithium polymer battery that recharges through a USB-C connection, with a complete charge taking as little as 1.5 hours under suitable charging conditions. Measuring approximately 3.5 by 2 by 0.78 inches, the Plasma Lighter XR packs easily into a pocket, backpack or preparedness kit. A charging cable and detachable lanyard are included for convenient charging and carry.
