Sterling Fur #1.75 Round Fiberglass Trap Pan Covers 24-Pack

Sterling Fur Company #1.75 Round Fiberglass Trap Pan Covers are practical accessories for preparing foothold trap sets while helping the pan and firing mechanism remain free to move. This exact round configuration is intended for use with #1.75 and #2 traps and comes packaged with 24 covers, providing a useful supply for running multiple sets or replacing covers during the season. Each cover is made from fiberglass and shaped to lie over the trap pan, creating a barrier that helps prevent loose dirt and other bedding material from collecting beneath the pan. Keeping that area clear supports consistent pan movement and reduces the need to pack material directly around sensitive working components. The round profile includes an opening that allows the cover to be positioned around the trap’s trigger assembly while covering the surrounding pan area. Fiberglass is well suited to this application because it can be cleaned and used again when its condition permits, making the covers convenient for routine trapline preparation. The covers are also sealed in a plastic bag by the manufacturer to help keep foreign odors away from the contents before they are placed in service. Their compact, lightweight format makes the package easy to store with other setting tools and trapping supplies without adding bulky equipment to a field kit. These pan covers are designed as a straightforward alternative to forming a barrier from loose material at every set. For trappers using compatible #1.75 or #2 traps, the Sterling Fur Company FTPC-175 package offers properly shaped fiberglass covers in a convenient 24-count quantity for organized, repeatable set construction.
