Produced through the Crucible Particle Metallurgy process, CPM SPY27 uses a cobalt-enriched alloy composition that also incorporates niobium, nitrogen, molybdenum, carbon, and vanadium. The 3.45-inch satin-finished PlainEdge blade has a full-flat grind that creates an efficient cutting profile for slicing through common materials while remaining substantial enough for demanding routine use. Spyderco’s Trademark Round Hole provides direct access for one-handed opening without adding a separate thumb stud.
