Spyderco MicroJimbo 2.45in S30V DLC Folding Knife Black G-10

The Spyderco MicroJimbo Black Blade is a compact folding knife that adapts the defining geometry of Michael Janich’s Yojimbo design to a smaller, pocket-friendly format. Its 2.45-inch Wharncliffe blade provides a straight cutting edge suited to controlled utility work, detailed cuts, opening packages, and other everyday tasks where a precise tip and manageable blade length are useful. The blade is made from CPM S30V stainless steel and has a full-flat grind, combining efficient cutting geometry with the distinctive profile of the MicroJimbo. A black Diamond-Like Carbon coating covers the blade, while matching black coatings on the liners, clip, and hardware create a consistent low-reflection appearance. The handle uses peel-ply-textured black G-10 scales over nested stainless steel liners, providing a rigid structure and a tactile gripping surface without making the knife unnecessarily bulky. Spyderco’s Compression Lock secures the blade in the open position and is positioned along the spine side of the handle, helping keep the user’s fingers away from the edge during normal closing. The Trademark Round Hole supports accessible one-handed blade deployment without adding a protruding thumb stud. For pocket carry, the MicroJimbo includes a reversible deep-pocket wire clip configured for left- or right-side tip-up use. The knife measures 3.80 inches closed and 6.22 inches overall when open, making it easy to carry while retaining the important dimensional relationships of the larger Yojimbo family. At only 3 ounces, it offers a practical balance of lightweight portability, dependable construction, and precise cutting capability. This exact version features a plain edge, black DLC-coated CPM S30V blade, black G-10 handle scales, all-black hardware, and USA manufacture.
