Mountain Summit Gear Horizon Folding Camping Cot 75 in. Tan

Description

The Mountain Summit Gear Horizon Folding Camping Cot provides an elevated, supportive sleeping platform for car camping, base camps, overnight trips and temporary guest accommodations at home. Its single-person sleeping surface measures 75 inches long by 27.55 inches wide, providing practical room for a sleeping bag and camping pillow while maintaining a manageable footprint inside many camping tents. At 14.5 inches high, the cot keeps the sleeper raised above the tent floor and makes getting into or out of bed more convenient than sleeping directly on a ground pad. The sleeping surface is made from durable 600-denier polyester and is supported by a sturdy steel frame with a maximum weight capacity of 300 pounds. An expandable frame design allows the base to open for setup and collapse for transport without the bulky form of a permanently assembled bed. Long side supports help hold the fabric sleeping deck in position once the cot is assembled. A storage pocket along the side provides an accessible place for smaller nighttime essentials such as a phone, flashlight or eyeglasses. When the trip is over, the cot packs into the included carrying bag for more organized transportation and storage. The complete cot weighs 18 pounds, making it best suited to vehicle-supported camping, established campsites and other situations where dependable sleeping space is more important than ultralight pack weight. It can be used with a sleeping bag for outdoor trips or paired with conventional bedding when serving as an extra bed indoors. The tan sleeping surface, contrasting dark head section and folding black frame give this Horizon cot a practical outdoor configuration designed for repeat setup, breakdown and transport.
