I have had an 835 for years and it is a great shotgun. The gun handles the heaviest turkey loads great. I added a Sims recoil pad, between that and the back bored ported barrel the recoil is less than some of my friends lightweight autos.
Using different choke I get great patterns also due to the back bored barrel minimizing shot deformation. I use mine as a turkey gun and it is perfect. The vented rib and fiber optic sight makes it easy to line up on a turkey in low light.
The camo pattern has held up extremely well over the years.
I think this is a great value for the money and even better on sale.
