The Magpul MOE-K2 Grip is a full-size replacement grip designed to update the handling characteristics of AR15 and M4-pattern firearms. This exact version is molded in Modified Coyote Brown polymer and uses a 17-degree grip angle that is more vertical than a traditional A2-style grip. That geometry places the firing hand closer to the shooter’s body, making the K2 particularly practical for compact firearms, PDW-style configurations, and rifles set up with a short length of pull. Its full-size profile provides ample gripping surface without giving up the more upright wrist position favored on modern carbine setups. Aggressive Trapezoidal Surface Projections, commonly called TSP texture, cover the primary contact areas to provide a positive hold. A beavertail and shaped, ridged backstrap help establish consistent hand placement and support proper trigger-finger positioning. The grip measures 4.1 inches from the receiver to the bottom and has a maximum thickness of 1.2 inches, while its published weight with mounting hardware is only 2.9 ounces. An internal compartment provides convenient storage space and comes closed by a basic grip cap. The compartment also accepts optional Magpul Storage Cores, allowing the storage configuration to be tailored for small equipment or supplies; optional cores are sold separately. Mounting hardware is included for installation. In addition to AR15 and M4-pattern firearms, the grip can function on AR10, SR25, and M110-style platforms. Fitment on some 7.62 NATO receivers may leave a small cosmetic gap between the beavertail and receiver, but this does not interfere with operation.
