The Magpul CTR Carbine Stock – Mil-Spec is a collapsible replacement stock for AR-pattern carbines equipped with a Mil-Spec sized carbine receiver extension tube. This exact version comes in Magpul’s Modified Coyote Brown color, a darker coyote shade suited to coordinated rifle builds and mixed earth-tone configurations. Its streamlined A-frame profile keeps the stock compact and helps prevent it from catching on clothing, slings, body armor, or other equipment during handling. The ambidextrous release latch is shielded within the stock body to reduce the chance of an unintended adjustment while remaining readily accessible from either side. Once the desired length of pull is selected, the supplemental friction lock helps limit movement between the stock and a properly sized receiver extension, creating a steadier and more consistent shoulder interface. A sloping cheek surface provides practical contact without adding unnecessary width or bulk. Multiple sling arrangements are supported through an integral ambidextrous push-button QD socket, rear and bottom sling loops, and a toe lanyard opening.
