Kershaw Blur Gold BlackWash Assisted Folding Knife 3.4 Inch

Description

The Kershaw Blur Gold BlackWash is an assisted folding knife designed for everyday carry, outdoor chores, and general-purpose cutting. This distinctive version of the long-running Blur pairs a gold anodized aluminum handle with a dark BlackWash blade, giving the knife a bold appearance while retaining the practical construction that defines the series. Its 3.4-inch plain-edge blade is made from Sandvik 14C28N stainless steel and uses the Blur’s recognizable slightly recurved profile. The curved cutting edge is well suited to controlled slicing and draw cuts, making it useful for opening packaging, cutting cord, preparing gear, and handling routine tasks around camp, the shop, or the home. Kershaw’s SpeedSafe mechanism assists blade deployment after the user pushes outward on the thumb stud, allowing convenient one-handed opening. Once deployed, an inset liner lock holds the blade in the working position. The handle is machined from lightweight 6061-T6 aluminum and fitted with textured Trac-Tec inserts that provide additional contact and control without requiring a bulky grip. At 4.5 inches closed and 7.9 inches overall, the Blur offers a substantial working blade while remaining compact enough for regular pocket carry. A reversible pocket clip supports right-handed tip-up or tip-down positioning, allowing the carry orientation to be adjusted to the user’s preference. The knife weighs approximately 3.9 ounces, balancing a sturdy in-hand feel with manageable everyday carry weight. Made in the USA, this Gold BlackWash configuration is a practical choice for customers who want the proven utility, assisted action, and secure handling of the Kershaw Blur in a more distinctive color combination.
