Higdon Standard Mallard Filler Pack Foam-Filled Decoys 12-Pack

Build greater visibility and a fuller presentation in your waterfowl spread with the Higdon Outdoors Standard Mallard Filler Pack. This foam-filled 12-pack contains eight resting drakes and four resting hens, giving hunters a practical way to add mallard numbers without relying on larger, more cumbersome decoys. The standard-size bodies are slightly smaller than average live ducks and are designed to remain lightweight and packable, making the set well suited to walk-in hunts, small boats and situations where carrying space matters. Each floater uses Higdon’s XHD Hyper-Feathering treatment, combining bright, high-contrast coloration with deep, textured carving to define individual feathers and create a convincing profile on the water. A detailed UV painting process is used to reduce unnatural glare when the decoys are wet while helping the drake and hen patterns remain easy for approaching birds to identify. Beneath each decoy, a forward-weighted keel promotes a natural resting position and dependable balance on the water. The keel also incorporates a front clip that makes short-string rigging more convenient in shallow water or other areas where long anchor lines are unnecessary. Because every decoy in this filler configuration uses a resting posture, the group creates a calm, settled appearance that can be mixed into an existing spread or deployed as a compact mallard set. Foam-filled construction adds substance to the one-piece floating bodies while retaining the portability expected from Higdon’s Standard series. The combination of eight drakes and four hens supplies visible color contrast and a natural flock ratio in one coordinated package. This Standard Mallard Filler Pack is an official licensed product of Ducks Unlimited and is configured specifically for hunters who want more realistic mallard bodies in their spread while keeping transportation and setup manageable.
