GHG Hunter Series Over Size Black Duck Floating Decoys 6-Pack

The GHG Hunter Series Over Size Black Duck Decoys are floating waterfowl decoys built for hunters who need a dark, highly visible addition to a working spread. This six-pack contains four drakes and two hens, providing a practical species mix for building a dedicated black duck setup or adding contrasting bodies to a mallard spread. Their oversized profiles are particularly useful on coastal water, larger lakes, flooded fields and other locations where standard-size decoys may be harder for passing birds to see. Black duck-specific paint schemes reproduce the species’ dark body and lighter, contrasting head, while detailed body shaping helps each decoy present a recognizable silhouette from multiple viewing angles. The decoys use durable polyethylene body construction suited to repeated deployment, retrieval and transport throughout waterfowl season. Each one is equipped with GHG’s 60/40 Dura-Keel system, which is designed to help the floater maintain a natural position and ride on the water under changing conditions. The drake body measures 17.32 inches long, 7.87 inches wide and 9.06 inches high. The hen measures 16.54 inches long, 7.28 inches wide and 9.45 inches high. Both configurations have a published individual weight of 1.10 pounds. The slight differences in dimensions and head appearance add variety to the group without sacrificing the visibility provided by the oversized design. Whether the six decoys are used as a compact black duck spread or worked into a larger puddle-duck arrangement, the combination of four drakes, two hens, species-specific coloration and floating Dura-Keel construction gives hunters a straightforward, ready-to-rig foundation for hunting open water and marsh environments.
