CobraTec Rath Folding Knife 3.5-Inch D2 Blade Brown G-10 Handle

Description

The CobraTec Rath is a practical folding knife configured for everyday carry, general utility cutting, and routine outdoor tasks. This brown-handle variant combines a 3.5-inch drop-point blade made from D2 tool steel with G-10 handle scales, giving the knife a straightforward combination of cutting capability and a secure handhold. Its drop-point profile provides a useful balance of tip control and belly for common jobs such as opening packages, cutting cord, preparing materials around camp, and handling other daily cutting needs. The blade opens with an integrated flipper, allowing it to be brought into position without adding a protruding thumb stud to the blade. Once opened, a liner lock holds the blade in its working position and can be released from inside the handle when it is time to close the knife. The Rath measures 4.5 inches while closed and 8 inches overall when open, providing a full-size grip while remaining compact enough for pocket carry. A deep-carry pocket clip keeps the folder readily accessible and positions it lower in the pocket than a conventional clip arrangement. A lanyard hole at the end of the handle provides another carry or retention option. The red accent surrounding the pivot adds contrast to the brown G-10 scales and dark blade finish without interfering with the knife's clean, functional layout. At approximately 4 ounces, the Rath offers substantial working dimensions without excessive carry weight. Its simple flipper-and-liner-lock design is familiar, easy to operate, and well suited to customers looking for a capable folding knife rather than an out-the-front automatic. This exact configuration includes the brown G-10 handle and plain-edge D2 blade associated with the Rath folding-knife series.
