Buck 700 Nomad Folding Knife 3.25 in D2 Drop Point Black

Description

The Buck 700 Nomad is a modern folding pocket knife designed for practical everyday carry and the routine cutting jobs encountered at home, at work or in the outdoors. This black version pairs a black-finished, 3.25-inch drop-point blade with a black anodized aluminum handle, while red hardware provides distinctive contrast at the thumb studs, crossbar lock and lanyard opening. The blade is made from D2 tool steel and has a gently curved cutting edge suited to opening packages, cutting cord, preparing kindling and handling other general utility tasks. Its drop-point profile provides a useful balance of slicing area and point control without making the knife unnecessarily bulky. Dual thumb studs allow the blade to be opened from either side, and the crossbar locking mechanism keeps the cutting edge securely positioned during use while allowing the knife to be closed without placing fingers directly in the blade path. At 4.5 inches closed and approximately 7.8 inches overall when open, the Nomad offers a full-size working blade in a slim format that remains manageable for daily pocket carry. The anodized aluminum handle keeps the construction light and rigid, helping the complete knife weigh only 3.1 ounces. Subtle texturing along the handle edges adds tactile reference while preserving the clean profile of the grip. A removable, reversible pocket clip supports right- or left-side tip-up carry, making the configuration adaptable to the user's preferred pocket. The clip-side construction also keeps the knife readily accessible without requiring a separate sheath. For hunters, campers, tradespeople and anyone who regularly needs a dependable cutting tool close at hand, the Buck 700 Nomad combines straightforward operation, contemporary materials and a compact folding design in an easy-to-carry black configuration.
