Browning Defender Pro Scout Max HD DV 46MP Cellular Trail Camera

The Browning Defender Pro Scout Max HD DV is a cellular trail camera designed to keep hunters, land managers and property owners connected to activity in the field without requiring frequent card checks. Its Direct Video function can automatically deliver the first portion of a triggered video through the Strike Force Wireless app when the applicable service option is active, providing a convenient look at what passed the camera. Higher-quality video can also be requested through the app. The camera captures still images at up to 46MP and records 1080p Full HD video with sound, giving users useful detail for identifying game, observing travel patterns or monitoring remote property. A 0.25-second trigger speed, 0.35-second recovery time and 100-foot detection range help cover active trails and other locations where animals may move through quickly. For nighttime monitoring, the no-glow infrared system illuminates subjects to 100 feet without producing a visible flash, while Illuma-Smart technology adjusts the infrared output for the scene. Power Save, Fast Motion and Long Range infrared settings allow the camera to be configured for different placement conditions. Pre-installed AT&T and Verizon SIM cards provide dual-carrier 4G LTE capability, and the camera can automatically select the stronger available network. Its folding high-gain antenna is protected during transport, while the 1.5-inch color screen assists with aiming and setup at the installation site. Photos and videos are stored on a user-supplied SDXC memory card with a supported capacity up to 512GB. The removable battery tray holds eight AA alkaline or lithium batteries, which are not included, and a 12-volt external power jack provides another field-power option. A standard 1/4-20 tripod socket expands mounting choices, while the included six-foot tree strap supports straightforward installation on trees and posts. Camera settings, media and scheduled or immediate uploads can be managed through the Strike Force Wireless app on compatible mobile devices.
