Air Venturi John Wayne Lil' Duke .177 Lever-Action BB Rifle

The Air Venturi John Wayne Lil' Duke is a .177-caliber lever-action BB rifle created for recreational plinking, supervised introductory shooting and fans of classic Western styling. Its spring-piston powerplant is cocked with a large-loop lever, giving the rifle familiar Western handling without requiring CO2 cartridges or an external air source. Once loaded, the internal reservoir holds as many as 550 steel BBs, allowing extended shooting sessions with fewer stops to reload. This repeater fires BBs only and can produce velocities up to 350 feet per second. The 34-inch overall length and 2.6-pound product weight make the Lil' Duke manageable for smaller-framed shooters while retaining the feel and proportions of a traditional rifle. A hardwood stock provides the distinctive orange-brown appearance, while officially licensed John Wayne artwork on the buttstock, Lil' Duke lettering on the forearm and a signature treatment on the receiver give this model its recognizable character. The rifle uses a 9.5-inch smoothbore barrel and straightforward open sights, including a blade front sight and a rear sight adjustable for elevation. A single-stage trigger and manual safety support simple operation during supervised target practice. The Lil' Duke is intended for paper targets, cans and other suitable airgun targets used with a secure backstop. Shooters and bystanders should always wear approved eye protection because steel BBs can ricochet, and the rifle should never be fired at water, metal or other hard surfaces. The manufacturer's manual specifies use by ages 10 and older with adult supervision, making careful instruction and responsible handling essential. With its high-capacity reservoir, self-contained spring power and licensed Western details, this rifle combines practical plinking capability with a design that John Wayne enthusiasts can appreciate.
