The Wyoming Women’s Antelope Hunt was established in 2013 as an opportunity for women to mentor one another and bond through a Wyoming tradition. The event raises funds to help the Wyoming Women’s Foundation carry out its mission. To visit the Wyoming Women’s Foundation website, CLICK HERE

The hunt takes place at a ranch near Ucross Wyoming which is northeast of Buffalo Wyoming and is open to approximately 40 hunters each year. Each year about 1/3 of the participants attend on a scholarship. This year’s hunt will take place from October 12-15th. Since 2013 the hunt has had participants from over19 states, and the success rate has been a whopping 90% +. In addition to the hunt, participants will have the opportunity to learn fly fishing, trap shooting and how to cook wild game. Below is an example of the camp schedule from last year.
