Pelican 3 lb Folding Anchor Kit with 20 ft Rope and Storage Bag

The Pelican 3 lb Folding Anchor Kit is a compact anchoring solution for kayaks, canoes, stand-up paddleboards, inflatables, and other small watercraft when you want to pause for fishing, swimming, or a break on the water. Its folding four-fluke design opens to engage sandy, muddy, weedy, or rocky bottoms, then collapses into a more manageable shape for storage between outings. The galvanized, corrosion-resistant construction is made for use around the water, while the compact design fits more readily aboard small craft with limited storage space. A 20-foot, or 6-meter, marine-grade rope is included, giving paddlers a complete setup without requiring a separately purchased anchor line. The kit also comes with a sturdy nylon storage bag that helps contain the folded anchor and rope, keeps loose equipment organized, and makes the set easier to carry between the vehicle and launch. Measuring 12.5 inches long, 5 inches wide, and 2.5 inches high, the anchor is conveniently sized for a deck, hatch, or cargo well. Its published weight is 3.35 pounds, balancing useful anchoring mass with the portability needed for paddlecraft and compact boats. The folding configuration is especially practical for anglers who need to hold position near a fishing spot or recreational paddlers who want to stop without continuously correcting for drift. Choose a suitable bottom, deploy enough rope for the conditions, and confirm the anchor has set before relying on it to hold the craft. This model is not intended for strong currents, so weather, water movement, boat traffic, and local conditions should always be considered before deployment. After use, retrieve the anchor, allow the anchor and rope to drain and dry, fold the flukes, and return the components to the included bag for compact transport and storage.
