The Spyderco Manix2 FRN Translucent Blue Knife has a plainedge. It is a folding plain-edge knife with a semi-opaque dusk blue handle. It features a ball bearing lock for smooth and consistent blade stability when open. There is a fiberglass-reinforced co-polymer handle with jimping areas on perimeter.

- FRN HANDLE - Fiberglass Reinforced Nylon is a polymer mixed with glass fiber then injection molded into formed and textured lightweight high-strength knife handles.
- BALL BEARING LOCK - This lock features a patented compressive lock that wedges a ball bearing between a fixed anvil and the blade tang. The mechanism also serves as a detent to hold the blade in the closed position.
