- Kayak Expo – April 21st
The Muskingum Watershed’s Kayak Crew will be on site at our Ashland location with their kayak trailer and MWCD Booth. They will be handing out information on all their upcoming events for the 2018 season as well as entering people for drawings and free giveaways. They can answer any questions you might have about kayaks or the MWCD Kayak program.

Saturday, April 14th – Quality Deer Management Clinic & Big Buck Scoring
10am-11am: Chainsaws & Big Bucks – Qulaity Deer Management Session
Timber management for deer habitat improvement. Presented by David Hershberger, QDM
11am-1pm: Whitetail Deer Scoring by Jon & Lori Byers, official Scorers.
1pm-2pm: Wild Mushrooms by Julie Powell-Albright. Wild mushroom ID and tasting.
This event will be held at the Pleasant Hill Lake Welcome Center, Perrysville, Ohio.
- Mohican Wildlife Weekend – April 27-29, 2018
Bring the whole family for a celebration of wildlife, habitat, heritage & natural history! Mohican Wildlife Weekend is an annual weekend event highlighting the vast rich heritage, wildlife, recreational, educational, and natural resources of the Greater Mohican area (Ashland & Richland Ohio Counties). Special programs and events feature just a few of the many opportunities to explore and experience what this area has to offer. This event is designed for everyone who loves and enjoys the great outdoors. Our hope is that after your experience here, you will want to share and return again and again throughout the year.
